Bangladesh police look for family of New York terror suspect
Police in Bangladesh have launched a search to track down the family and any known associates of the New York terror suspect.
Akayed Ullah, who moved to the US from Bangladeshi seven years ago, had set off a homemade pipe bomb in a crowded New York City commuter hub on Monday, injuring himself and three others.
Bangladesh’s police chief said 27-year-old Ullah had no criminal record in his home country.
They are said to conduct searches in Chittagong, where Ullah’s family originally lived.
According to reports, Ullah lived with his mother, sister and two brothers in Brooklyn and was a green card holder.
