1. The Philippine Embassy in UAE and the MWO-DUBAI will be CLOSED to the public on these dates following the observance of the following Philippine holidays ina ccordance with proclamation No. 368 s. 2023:

- 9 April 2024 (Tuesday) - Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan)

2. The Commission on Filipinos Overseas is pleased to inform the public that 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 for the 2024 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas (PAFIOO).
The PAFIOO is a biennial search to honor and recognize overseas Filipinos and other individuals or organizations who contribute to Philippine development initiatives or promote the cause and interest of the Filipino diaspora/overseas Filipino communities.
The PAFIOO has four (4) award categories as follows:
𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝘄𝗮 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 (𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗟) 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
