Ely Buendia and Up Dharma Down Back-to-Back in Dubai

It’s going to be an entertaining night of live alternative rock, pop, electronic and original Filipino music as Pinoy music icon Ely Buendia and award-winning band UDD will be headlining back-to-back at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium on November 10, Friday!

Buendia is set to perform his greatest hits that gained critical acclaim, topped music charts and are now considered classics. He may have made a name for himself as a multi-talented singer-songwriter, but fans of his earlier works will be pleased to know that part of his repertoire are Eraserheads’ greatest hits including “Ang Huling El Bimbo” and “Spolarium”. You can likewise watch out for his more recent singles produced with Pupil, The Oktaves, and Apartel.

Adding more top tunes is Filipino band UDD, formerly known as ‘Up Dharma Down’. Playing for the first time in Dubai, this award-winning foursome scooped the NU 107 Rock Awards’ ‘Raw Award’ and ‘Best New Artist’ in 2006. The band’s vocalist and keyboardist, Armi Millare, also received the ‘Best Female Award’, and in 2008, UDD was voted ‘Favorite Indie Artist’ at the Myx Music Awards.
