Volkswagen set to pay US $4.3 billion to US regulators

Volkswagen announced it has negotiated a draft settlement of $4.3 billion with US regulators over a massive diesel emissions scandal.

The German automaker would also plead guilty to criminal misconduct.

Earlier this week, a Volkswagen executive in Miami was arrested on charges that he helped cover up the scandal.
